When news of Imtiaz Ali teaming up with Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma for his next film, tentatively titled The Ringcame to the forefront, we could not contain our excitement. Here's a director who has (seemingly) never given a second thought to box office collections, and has delivered many unique stories. And then there are Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma; stars in their own right, and among the few actors in the industry who, arguably, have the guts to experiment.Shah Rukh Khan has been posting sneaky photos of the shoot, without really giving anything away. All we can tell by his hints (and this is not much) is that he seems to be playing his age, and also visited a museum in Prague.
Anushka Sharma too only uploaded a couple of posts from Prague that don't reveal much.
However, we can always trust social media patrons to give us more dope on what is going down in Prague on Imtiaz Ali's sets. Apart from SRK's colourful choice of attire, he seems to be completely engrossed in filming with Imtiaz.
Shah Rukh is said to be playing a tourist guide in the movie. Anushka Sharma will be paired with SRK for the third time on screen, after Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and Jab Tak Hai Jaan. She plays a Gujarati girl in the movie. The film also marks SRK’s return to an out-and-out romantic film after four years. His last on screen love story was late director Yash Chopra’s Jab Tak Hai Jaan.Hence, his fans are excited about the movie, more so because he has teamed up with Imtiaz, who is known for his penchant for contemporary romances.(With inputs from PTI)
