Shah Rukh Khan reunites with Devdas co-star Jackie Shroff at CM Eknath Shinde's Ganpati puja

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who is currently basking in the historic success of his action thriller Jawan, met his Devdas co-star Jackie Shroff recently. The two, who worked together in Happy New Year, met at Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's Ganpati puja on Sunday in Mumbai. As visible in the video shared on Instagram, the actors can be seen hugging and kissing at the star-studded event.

Shah Rukh Khan looked stunning in a royal blue kurta with a white salwar. He rounded off the look by tying his hair in a signature ponytail. Jackie, on the other hand, wore a similar outfit to Shah Rukh’s but styled it with a yellow bandana and a white stole with blue features. The two actors had a quick conversation as they laughed and posed for paparazzi.

Celebs roll call

Others who led the celeb roll call included Salman Khan, accompanied by his sister Arpita Khan and brother-in-law Aayush Sharma. In addition, veteran actor Suniel Shetty was also pictured seeking Ganpati's blessings and performing aarti.

Bollywood divas Pooja Hegde, Bhumi Pednekar and Ameesha Patel also attended Ganesh puja in their festive best. While Pooja Hegde and Bhumi Pednekar were spotted in matching yellow sarees, the Gadar 2 star kept it simple in a white ensemble.

Other celebrities like Rajkummar Rao, Rakul Preet Singh, Kajal Aggarwal and Shriya Saran were absolute couple goals as they attended the celebrations with their respective partners.

Producer Boney Kapoor and actor Arjun Rampal attended the Utsav with their daughters. Boney Kapoor's younger daughter Khushi Kapoor graced the event while Arjun Rampal was accompanied by his daughters Myra and Mahikaa Rampal.

Work Front

Jackie Shroff last appeared in Ahmed Khan-directed Baap. The film's plot showcased iconic 90s action heroes Mithun Chakraborty, Sunny Deol and Sanjay Dutt in lead roles. The actor was recently spotted at the screening of the upcoming movie Sabun, directed by Vijay Maurya. It stars actress Neena Gupta as lead.

Bollywood's Baadshah, on the other hand, is busy basking in the record-breaking success of his latest release, Jawan. The Atlee directorial film was released on 7 September and is expected to enter the Rs 1000 crore club in less than 30 days.

The film features Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Ridhi Dogra and Sanya Malhotra among others. Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt also had an extended cameo in the film.
