Saturday Night Live creator hints at cast changes, Nasim Pedrad might leave

Getty Images[/caption]Last season saw Sasheer Zamata added to the featured cast after an outcry about a lack of African-American women on the show, and Nasim Pedrad has hinted that she will leave SNL for the Fox sitcom 'Mulaney', reported Deadline.Michaels recently acknowledged that 'Saturday Night Live', which is a late-night live television sketch comedy and variety show, has yet to fully adapt to the losses of Bill Hader, Jason Sudeikis and Fred Armisen last year."We lost four leading men at the end of last season, Fred and Bill and Andy Samberg and Jason, all of whom were very seasoned, very strong cast," he said. "We lost Kristen Wiig the year before. All have been here a long time, and you get used to how good people are."Michaels added that more casting announcements will be made in the coming months. "We're still in the middle of rebuilding. So, there will be changes this year," he explained.'Saturday Night Live' will celebrate its 40th anniversary with a primetime cast reunion special in 2015.PTI
