Salman Khan has strongly reacted to the recent paparazzi chaos outside Mumbai’s Hinduja Hospital, accusing photographers of trying to create content out of someone’s pain and suffering. The actor shared a series of fiery posts on social media after videos surfaced showing photographers following him and repeatedly calling out to him outside the hospital premises.
Salman had recently visited the hospital. Viral videos show the superstar visibly annoyed as shutterbugs tried to take photos and videos of him while exiting the hospital, even shouting his name. Salman made hand gestures and questioned the photographers' behaviour.
Salman Khan calls out paparazzi culture
Later, taking to Instagram Stories, Salman expressed disappointment over the behaviour of some members of the media, saying he has always supported photographers throughout his career.
In one of his posts, the actor wrote, “If I see any press at a hospital enjoying my pain. The press that I have stood for interacted with, took care to make sure that they also earn their bread n butter.”
‘Pic important hai ya life?’
Salman further criticised photographers for prioritising pictures and viral content over human emotions. In another strongly worded post, he wrote, “But if they wanna make money from my losses. Keep quiet, don't enjoy. Bhai bhai bhai matrabhumi picture ki maaa ki aankh, pic imp hai ya life.”
The actor also issued a warning against similar behaviour in future, especially during emotionally distressing moments involving family or loved ones.
He wrote, “Aise main sau jala doonga. Bhai k ek bhai k dukh par agli baar try kar lena mere sath. Buss try kar lena. Jab bhi tumhara koi hospital mai hoga kya mai aisa react karoonga?”
Salman reminded followers that despite being 60 years old, he still knows how to stand up for himself.
He wrote, “60 saal ka ho gaya hoon lekin ladna nahiin bhoola yeh yaad rakh lena, jail mein dalo ge haaa haar.”
What happened outside Hinduja Hospital?
On May 19, videos from outside Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai showed Salman appearing visibly upset as photographers gathered around him outside the premises.
Several clips circulating online showed paparazzi attempting to capture visuals while repeatedly calling out to the actor.
The reason behind Salman’s hospital visit has not been publicly disclosed.
Salman Khan’s next film is Maatrubhumi
On the work front, Salman will next be seen in Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace alongside Chitrangada Singh. The film, previously titled Battle of Galwan, is based on the 2020 Galwan Valley clash between India and China. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia and produced under Salman Khan Films, the film is expected to release soon.
