Rambo remake: Tiger Shroff starrer to go on floors in November 2019, confirms director Siddharth Anand

The Hindi remake of Sylvester Stallone's Rambo franchise starring Tiger Shroff, which was announced at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival, is all set to go on floors in November 2019. The film was initially supposed to go on floors in December 2017, however due to Shroff and director Siddharth Anand's schedules, the filming of the movie could not commence.

“We will start by November 2019. The film will be shot completely in Europe and the Himalayas as the story requires a snowy backdrop. The script for Rambo is ready and the preliminary recce is done. Now I just have to re-recruit my team based on the new dates of the shoot,” said Anand, according to a Mumbai Mirror report.Anand will be helming as well as producing the movie, however he is currently busy with the preparation for his upcoming film starring Shroff, Hrithik Roshan and Vaani Kapoor (expected to go on floors in August), which will keep him busy till 2019.Shroff is currently wrapping up the filming for Baaghi 2 which is expected to hit theaters on 30 March. He will then take on Punit Malhotra's Student of the Year 2, which is all set for a 23 November release.The original Hollywood Rambo series comprises of four movie — First Blood (1982), Rambo: First Blood Part II (1985), Rambo III (1988) and Rambo (2008).
