Oscars 2017: Where to watch, how to watch, and what to expect from Hollywood's big night?

The 89th Academy Awards or Oscars 2017 will take place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, 26 February 2017 (in India, Monday morning — 27 February). The climate for the Oscars is expected to be a politically tense one, maybe the most tense up to date, following the environment at the Grammys (Katy Perry's performance) and Golden Globes (Meryl Streep's speech). His hosting at the Emmys was very well received, and he is expected to incorporate political humour (Trump jokes?) into his routine, but will make sure it won't dominate the show, according to his interview with The Hollywood Reporter.The familiar faces in the crowdPriyanka Chopra is going to make an appearance, and will hopefully  make her way into the best dressed at the Oscars red carpet like last year, with her sheer Zuhair Murad gown. Nominated for the Best Supporting Actor category for the film Lion, Dev has already bagged a BAFTA for his performance. The film Lion is also nominated for the Best Picture. Sunny Pawar, who plays the younger version of Dev Patel in Lion might also be spotted at the Oscar ceremony.

Any performances to look forward to?Lin-Manuel Miranda, Sting, Justin Timberlake and 2014 Oscar winner John Legend are set to perform.
