Next James Bond film to release in November 2019; Daniel Craig's casting not confirmed

James Bond will be back in action in 2019, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and Eon Productions have announced.[caption id="attachment_695711" align="alignleft" width="380"] Daniel Craig as James Bond. There is no word yet on whether or not Daniel Craig will return for the role.Unnamed sources speaking to New York Times have reportedly said that Craig is likely to play Bond, and that Christopher Nolan will possibly direct the film.In the past, Craig has first said that he would not like to star in another Bond film since the experience of the last one was grueling. "I’d rather break this glass and slash my wrists," he was reported saying, but in later interviews, he expressed an interest in another stint.The cast and director of the upcoming film will be announced at a later date. The script will be written by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, who worked on Craig's four Bond films Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Skyfall and Spectre. While Martin Campbell directed the first film starring Craig and Marc Forster helmed the second, Sam Mendes directed the last two.The 25th James Bond film will open on the same day as an untitled Disney fairy tale movie.The James Bond film franchise originated in 1962, and is based on the series of books written by Ian Fleming.
