Netflix orders four-part true crime series on serial killer Ted Bundy, directed by Emmy winner Joe Berlinger

Netflix has ordered a true crime series based on American serial killer Ted Bundy titled, Conversations With a Killer. Emmy-winning documentarian Joe Berlinger will direct as well as executive produce the four-part project, writes The Hollywood Reporter.Conversations With a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes will hit the streaming giant on 24 January, 2019, thirty years after his execution for the murder of this last victim, Kimberly Leach.According to THR, the series will feature never before heard audio interviews of Bundy while he was on death row in Florida. The show will also delve into the brutal killings of more than 30 women , reportage around his trials, the adoration of a number of women as well as his marriage to Carole Ann Boone.Netflix already has several true crime docu series like Making of a Murderer, Evil Genius and The Staircase.Berlinger is also helming a film based on the serial killer, Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile, which has Zac Efron in the lead and also stars Lily Collins. The film will have its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in January, 2019. Berlinger has previously directed films like Paradise Lost: The Child Murders at Robin Hood Hills, Brother’s Keeper.
