Mukesh Ambani introduces Shah Rukh Khan as son Anant Ambani's 'godfather' at pre-wedding bash - watch video

The pre-wedding festivities of Mukesh Ambani's son Anant Ambani and Viren Merchant's daughter Radhika Merchant, which took place in Jamnagar, was a lavish star-studded affair, where we saw influential personalities, celebrities and sports personalities marking their presence. The pre-wedding bash took from 1st to 3rd March.

However, on March 6, we saw celebs like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Ranveer Singh returning to Gujarat’s Jamnagar for the extended event.

Now, a video from the bash is going viral where Mukesh and Nita Ambani introduce Shah Rukh Khan as Anant Ambani’s ‘godfather’. "Since Anant was a boy, he has had a godfather," says RIL chairman and then his wife Nita invites SRK on the stage.

In another video, we also saw SRK entertaining the crowd with his charm and humour. “Kyunki main Shah Rukh hun, mujhe yahan sab ladies zyada sundar lag rahi hain (Because I am Shah Rukh Khan, I am finding all the ladies very beautiful here),” he said, as he interacted with the audience. He spoke in Gujarati with the crowd and started with a disclaimer, “If I make a mistake, it’s everyone else’s fault, but if I speak correctly, then it’s my intelligence.”

After wrapping the pre-wedding bash, the Ambani family returned to Mumbai on Thursday. Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant are set to exchange their wedding vows in July this year.
