MTV European Music Awards: Deepika Padukone makes her international red-carpet debut
Deepika Padukone made her global red carpet debut at MTV European Music Awards. After slaying at the MTV EMAs red carpet, she presented an award to The Weeknd.

Deepika Padukone, the star of xXx: The Return of Xander Cage, was seen at the red carpet of the MTV European Music Awards and even co-presented an Award with The Vampire Diaries star Nina Dorbev for Best Video, which went to none other than — The Weeknd. The European music awards marked her international debut on the red carpet and she had told DNA in an interview, "I was pleasantly surprised when I got the invite. It is very gracious of them to invite me. I have grown up watching the MTV awards and I didn’t think that one day, I would be walking down the red carpet and presenting an award at this global music event. It’s a step forward in my global career."Dressed in a custom made Monisha Jaising and Shaleen Nathani dress, the actress looked stunning and managed to channel her inner Serena Unger (the assassin she plays in the xXx film). She opted for an olive green high slit trail skirt teamed with heavily embellished bodice and matching bomber jacket. Her make-up was on-fleek with her high-drama attire. She added drama with smokey eyes and decided to go keep the rest very subtle. The accessorizing with the long green earrings is just perfect! Though we might be appreciative of her look, UK's leading tabloid The Daily Mail wasn't. They went on to label her style of the evening as "Bollywood blunder: Indian actress Deepika Padukone may be stunning but her swamp green bra-let and skirt combo did nothing for her sensational figure." and put her in the worst dressed section.
