Lakme Fashion Week Summer Resort 2017: Amit Aggarwal, Eka present intriguing lines

The Lakme Fashion Week Summer Resort 2017 kicked off in Mumbai on Wednesday, 1 February, and among the notable collections was the one by designer Amit Aggarwal.Aggarwal's creations involved a creative use of unconventional industrial materials.About the theme, Aggarwal said: "When we talk about being pro-environment, it's not only about going organic. The colours of the collection were that of traditional Patola like wine, rust, teal, olive, khaki, mustard and ink blue and similar metallic tones as accents.The designer, who has dressed Bollywood clients like Huma Qureshi, Dia Mirza, Karisma Kapoor and Nargis Fakhri, said, "Engaging with Bollywood for a fashion label like ours is always an interesting affair.
