Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson in custody battle... for dog
Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are now embroiled in a custody battle over their beloved dog, called bear.

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson were the 'it' couple of next-gen Hollywood.Well, that was until the photos of Kristen's moment of 'indiscretion' with the director of Snow White and the Huntsman, Rupert Sanders, was captured by paparazzi and splashed all over the media. What followed was an unexpected public apology by Kristen for causing Pattinson “hurt and embarrassment” and declaration of her unchanged love. However, post the apology, everything has been as traditional as any Hollywood splitville story.[caption id="attachment_399984" align="alignleft" width="380"]
Reuters[/caption]No more on talking terms, Pattinson moved out of the couple's posh LA apartment, the media went berserk, Kristen was hated by all and sundry for her act and poor Pattinson had been heartbroken and crestfallen. Now, after seeing celebrity couples split every season, we pretty much know what to expect next. Since the couple never married, there will thankfully be no question of who-wants-a-divorce. Perhaps a dispute over distribution of assets may surface but as they never had kids, no custody battles for sure.Well, atleast we thought that there would not be any custody battle. But there is! The couple had adopted a pooch, named Bear, from a high kill shelter at New Orleans and RadarOnline.com recently reported that neither K-stew nor Rob were willing to part with it.While Kristen gets to keep her cat Max, she wants the dog too, especially since she became all the more attached with him after she helped the little mutt fight a fatal disease called Parvo. However, an insider told the website that “ Rob was so hurt by Kristen’s actions he decided that he wants the dog to help him get over what happened. After all, a dog is a man’s best friend and Bear is such a good companion."Kristen however, perhaps laden with the guilt of already hurting Robert has agreed to relent and go for joint custody of Bear, but whether Pattinson will agree to that is yet to be known. With the couple embroiled in a custody battle now, lets see what new drama unfolds.
