Kevin Hart reconsiders hosting Oscars 2019 after 'incredible, honest' conversation on The Ellen Show

Comedian and actor Kevin Hart, who abruptly withdrew from hosting the Oscars in December amid flack for past homophobic and anti-gay tweets, is re-evaluating if he should take up the job after an “incredible and honest conversation” on The Ellen Show.Ellen tweeted the news on Thursday as she hoped to convince the comedian to reverse his decision. The talk show host even advanced the episode's airing by three days.Two days after announcing he had landed what he called a dream gig in early December, Hart said that the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences had told him to choose between apologising for the tweets or losing the job.
