Katrina Kaif: 'Salman Khan can have his moods on the sets, with Akshay Kumar, it is...'
In a recent interview, the actress spoke about the difference between the two actors' working style since she has collaborated with the two multiple times

Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan have done films like Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya, Bharat, Yuvvraaj, the Tiger franchise, Hello, Partner. With Akshay Kumar, the actress was seen in Humko Deewana Kar Gaye, Namastey London, Welcome, Singh Is Kinng, De Dana Dan, Blue, Tees Maar Khan, and Sooryavanshi.
In a recent interview, the actress spoke about the difference between the two actors' working style since she has collaborated with the two multiple times. Kaif revealed to Mid-day, "As an actor, on set, of course he (Salman) has his moods, as well all know, Salman can be a very honest person that way, but he actually thinks a lot. He sees things from the perspective of the story, he is following the whole story."
She added, "Sometimes as an actor when you come on set, it is all about the scene, and it is fantastic and it is great, but he’ll usually still be remembering the entire story, the entire arc of the film. He is very very conscious of how the overall story is, according to him, turning out."
On their working styles
Akshay is a very different person. He covers the story but he improvises a lot. He comes on set with the way he sees the scene and then we’ll discuss it and he’ll see what you are doing and we’ll play around in that space. They are just different as people. They are incredibly different. For me it’s difficult (to describe).
Back in 2008, YRF made Bachna Ae Haseeno helmed by Siddharth Anand of War and Pathaan fame. It marked Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone’s second film of their careers, and also starred Bipasha Basu and Minnisha Lamba. It has been revealed by Katrina Kaif and Anand before how she too was a part of the film and her role was cut. And the same was confirmed by the actress again in an interview with Midday.
Also, back in 2008, ahead of the release of the film, when the director was asked to explain the reason behind the same, he elaborated, “ Nobody had the heart to break the news to her. When she heard she was out, Katrina was really upset. What to do? In fact, Katrina’s track was one of our favourites, but she saw our point of view when she saw the film," Anand told IANS.
