Kangana Ranaut finally addresses wedding rumours: 'Someone clicked this random picture and...'

I won't marry secretly, I promise, actor-politician Kangana Ranaut said on Friday as she reacted to a photo circulating online that showed wearing a mangalsutra and green bangles.

The photo, which went viral on social media earlier this week, has led to speculation that the "Tanu Weds Manu" actor has secretly tied the knot.

However, the reason for Kangana Ranaut to wear a mangalsutra is the sequel to her 2014 hit Queen, which she has started shooting for.

Kangana, who is a BJP MP from Himachal Pradesh, shared a post on her Instagram Stories and clarified that she had been photographed in costume for a character from her upcoming movie.

"I am filming in and around the city every single day, someone clicked this random picture with character make-up, and now I am getting so many phone calls," she wrote in the caption.

"But what is the big deal about the married-woman look? Actors play all kinds of roles, I won't marry secretly, I promise," she added.

The actor has several projects in the pipeline, including "Bharat Bhagya Vidhaata", slated for release on June 12.

Kangana will also star in the sequel to her 2014 hit "Queen". She is also reuniting with her "Tanu Weds Manu" co-star R Madhavan for a psychological thriller film.
