In the remake of Amitabh Bachchan's Don that starred Shah Rukh Khan, Boman Irani was the viillain both in part one and part two. In part three, that now stars Ranveer Singh as the new kingpin, fans have speculated Emraan Hashmi as the antagonist. The actor was clicked outside Farhan Akhtar's office that sparked rumours:

Ranveer Singh is now officially the new Don in town after Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan. All the speculations are laid to rest as Ranveer Singh is officially the new Don. Farhan Akhtar shared his first glimpse from ‘Don 3‘ and the actor is all set to embody the iconic character earlier played by Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan.
