'Hema Malini was made to dance': BJP MP Narottam Mishra faces flak for remark

In the video, he could be heard humiliating the celebrated actress as he said, "Development at such a level in Datia that not only cultural programs were organised, but even Hema Malini was made to dance."The BJP MLA’s remark prompted reactions from the opposition parties as the Janata Dal (United) called the statements 'derogatory'. Congress too jumped onto the bandwagon. JD(U) dropped a post on X that read, “See the reality of shameless BJP members who criticise the character and appearance. Madhya Pradesh’s Home Minister Narottam Mishra has said such derogatory things about his own party’s MP Hema Malini.”Meanwhile, Congress leader Digvijay Singh slammed Mishra for his remark on the actress and said, “Listen to the real meanness of the honourable minister of cultured BJP towards women.
