Grammys 2017: Most unusual red carpet fashion statements from the award show
CeeLo Green walked the red carpet dressed in a gold outfit; Girl Crush debuted a new barbie look at the Grammys

While the Oscars and the Emmys don't fail to stun us with their fashion sense; the fashion on the Grammys red carpet is always a bit unusual.Case in point: Nicki Minaj's throwback to Little Red Ridding Hood in 2012 which was nothing short of controversial and Margaret Cho's shear peacock dress of 2004. Not to be outdone, for the Grammys 2017, stars on the red carpet really took out the time and effort to stand out in their own unique way.The most memorable fashion star of the evening was CeeLo Green. Forget Rihanna, Beyonce or Katy Perry; CeeLo Green will forever be remembered for his outfit that looks like Bappi Lahri's dream come true. (is there a collaboration in the works that we don't know about?)The singer rolled through in a shiny, nearly-sunglasses-necessitating gold floor-length look (a gown, perhaps?). It would've been eye-catching enough on its own, but Green made things next-level by being gilded from head-to-toe, literally. Hell, even his hands were encased in gold gloves. He actually was debuting his alter ego, Gnarles Davidson, at the Grammys. Here's the outfit:[caption id="attachment_3280602" align="alignnone" width="825"]

Here are the best ones:Some thought that he looked like the villain from Power Rangers. The film's official twitter handle agreed: Remember Mike Posner, the singer of 'I Took A Pill in Ibiza'? He seems to have taken a pill in LA before the Grammy Award show, because he showed up with his collaborator Blackbear, and would only speak red-carpet interviewers through him. The fact that the pair were both dressed in Jared Leto Joker cosplay made the whole thing funnier.

The back of the red, white and blue dress reads "Trump" on the train.Girl Crush dressed like candy.[caption id="attachment_3280658" align="alignnone" width="825"]
