Deadpool 2: Ryan Reynolds reveals first look of Cable with cybernetic eye, arm
Ryan Reynolds reveals the first look of Cable played by Josh Brolin in the upcoming Deadpool 2 featuring his scars, cybernetic eye and arm and a whole load of ammo

The first look of actor Josh Brolin, who plays the role of the futuristic Cable in the upcoming Deadpool 2 movie, has been revealed by Ryan-funnyman-Reynolds and we cannot contain our excitement.Reynolds took to his social media profiles to share a much awaited picture of the character of Cable, like he did with Domino (played by Zazie Beetz) previously. The photograph obviously came with Reynolds' signature wit, with the caption 'We all have that one, grumpy, heavily armed Uncle from the future. #PremiumCABLE #MaximumA***ole' and it sent fans of the comics and movie franchise in a tizzy. The big reveal had everything that true fans (read: comic book geeks) were expecting out of the character in terms of his physical attributes. Cable sported all his scars and physical afflictions proudly, while Brolin looked fit AF (something he's been training hard towards for a while, as seen via his social media profiles). Cable's look features his classic grey/silver hair, facial scars and a cybernetic eye, and in a second photo that was shared by Reynolds — a slightly more zoomed out version with his entire torso on display — we see his cybernetic arm and a whole load of ammunition. There's also a tell tale (ragged) teddy bear seen hanging from Cable's left hip (perhaps a sign of the introduction of the character of Hope Summers — a mutant that goes on to become a central element for mutantkind in the X-Force series — laying down the foundation for a major plot point?)Both the characters of Cable and Domino are original members of the mutant team X-Force from the Marvel Comics universe, and they have fought alongside as well as against Deadpool several times in the comics in the past. The shooting of the movie is currently ongoing in Vancouver since last month. Deadpool 2 is directed by David Leitch, having taken over for the original helmer Tim Miller. Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick have penned down the script for this much awaited movie. The film is slated to release on 1 June, 2018.
