Chris Pratt's The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part to release in India on 8 February

The Lego Movie 2 has found a release date in India, and fans could not have been happier. The sequel to the much-acclaimed The Lego Movie will now be releasing in theatres on 8 February.The sequel sees original actors voicing their parts — Emmett (voiced by Chris Pratt), Lucy (voiced by Elizabeth Banks), Batman (voiced by Will Arnett), Unikitty (Alison Brie) and Metalbeard (Nick Offerman) among others. There also may be cameo appearances from pop culture icons like Superman, The Flash, Green Lantern and the like.[caption id="attachment_5591641" align="alignnone" width="825"]

Screenshot from YouTube[/caption]The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part has been directed by Mike Mitchell and Trisha Gum. Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, writers and directors of the first film, will return as producers and co-writers. Raphael Bob-Waksberg and Michelle Morgan are the other two writers of The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part.Indo-Asian News Service quoted director Mike Mitchell as saying, "There is a lot of crazy action and one of a kind characters, and the same irreverent, out of bounds comedy. Emmet sets off with courage and total commitment but not any real idea where he's going. It's everything you loved about the first movie and more."Pratt also weighed in, stating that the sequel deals with themes of coming and working together which are quite relevant in modern times. The actor also added that the film would deal with the idea of people "not losing that childlike sense of wonder and the willingness to use your imagination."
