Amitabh Bachchan continues his recording spree, records 2 more songs
Amitabh Bachchan has lent his voice to the narration of over a dozen films and over two dozen songs.

Amitabh Bachchan seems to be on a recording spree. After narrating for Begum Jaan, he recorded 2 songs in late music composer Aadesh Shrivastava's studio. He took to Twitter to post pictures of him recording the songs and also took the opportunity to remember Shrivastava who collaborated with him in films like Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Baghban and Ravi Chopra's 2006 film Babul.[caption id="attachment_3337570" align="alignleft" width="380"]

Twitter[/caption]The Northeast Today reports that he recorded a song dedicated to the Brahmaputra, which will serve as the theme song of the 'Namami Brahmaputra' festival that will take place from 31 March to 4 April. The song is composed by Assamese vocalist Papon. Bachchan also recorded a jingle in the studio for Navratna oil, a product that he endorses.Before he became famous, Bachchan was rejected by All India Radio because of his baritone. Little did they know that it will become one of the most recognizable as well as mesmerising voices in India.He has lent his voice to multiple blockbusters like Satyajit Ray's 1977 film Shatranj Ke Khilari, Ashutosh Gowariker's Lagaan and Jodhaa Akbar, Raksh Roshan's Krrish 3, Sankalp Reddy's The Ghazi Attack and most recently, Srijit Mukherji's Begum Jaan.Besides narration, he has sung more than a dozen popular songs like 'Mere Angne Me' from Prakash Mehra's 1981 film Laawaris, 'Neela Aasman' and 'Rang Barse' from Yash Chopra's 1981 romantic drama Silsila, 'Shava Shava' from Karan Johar's 2001 family drama Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, three songs of Ravi Chopra's 2003 family drama Baghban, 'Ekla Chalo Re' from Sujoy Ghosh's 2012 thriller Kahaani, the title song of Rohit Shetty's 2012 comedy Bol Bachchan and most recently 'Pidly' from R Balki's 2015 film Shamitabh.
