'Alpha': Why is Sharvari missing from the teaser and not Alia Bhatt and Bobby Deol? Here's what we know

Aditya Chopra’s Yash Raj Films has launched the teaser of Alpha, headlined by Alia Bhatt and Sharvari. The asset unveils the first origin story of a young assassin, who is raised and built to kill, within the YRF Spy Universe.

In the first teaser, YRF has set up the story of a killer (Alia) raised by Bobby Deol. But why is the other leading lady Sharvari missing from the first glimpse?

The reason is that YRF will reveal the character of Sharvari soon, as every character is built out for the audience through its marketing campaign.

What to expect from Alpha

Alpha is a true blue popcorn entertainer that is intended to be a celebration of the Alpha attitude of two girls in a never been done before action film fronted by women in cinema!

Bobby Deol on doing ‘Alpha’ with Alia Bhatt and Sharvari

Bobby Deol has had the best time shooting for YRF’s Alpha, an origin story of an assassin raised and built to kill, which is headlined by Alia Bhatt and also stars Sharvari! Bobby feels it is quite cool that a film featuring two girls doing action has been made in India and hopes that people will give Alpha a lot of love.

Bobby says, “I’m very fond of Ranbir and Alia, and I always wanted to work with both of them. With Ranbir, I did Animal, and now with Alia, I have now done Alpha. I had the best time working with both of them. It is quite amazing that we are making an action film in India, like Alpha, featuring two girls doing action on screen. I like Alpha a lot because it is new, it is refreshing, and a new visual for the audience to watch in theatres.”
