London: Actor Benedict Cumberbatch is reportedly set to play Shakespeare's tragic hero Hamlet on stage.[caption id="attachment_1453609" align="alignleft" width="380"]Reuters Reuters[/caption]The 37-year-old Sherlock star is likely to sigh up for a new production of Hamlet, reported Metro online.The production will see Cumberbatch for the first time setting his foot on a London stage since appearing in the Danny Boyle-directed version of 'Frankenstein' in 2011."It's a role I've been interested in for a long time. I don't know if there is such a thing as a right age to play the part, but 36 or 37 seems appropriate to me," he had said.PTI
