First, there were rumours that actors Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's newborn would be revealed on Makar Sankranti day; then we heard Oprah Winfrey would name her on her talk show, then we read somewhere that Beti B would be called Aaliya. But these were just rumours. The latest is that Beti B is likely to be named Abhilasha. A tweet from author Shobhaa De sparked off speculation on the name of the baby girl.De tweeted: "Beti B to be named Abhilasha? That's a stroke of genius. Well done, parents. Abhi and Ash. Truly inspired, if true."[caption id="attachment_220631" align="alignleft" width="380" caption="Abhishek and Amitabh Bachchan outside the hospital with BetiB. Raju Shelar/ Firstpost"][/caption]The news has not been confirmed yet by any one from the Bachchan clan.Aishwarya gave birth to a baby girl on 17 November, the first child for the former Miss World and her actor husband Abhishek Bachchan. But what's the wait for? Why is the Bachchan family not giving us the grand news?Maybe they are waiting for Amitabh Bachchan to be discharged from hospital and return home healthy. Sr Bachchan was the first one to reveal the news of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's pregnancy on Twitter. And probably he'll be the first from the Bachchan family to deliver the news.
