3 things the new Durex ad tells us about Ranveer Singh
Singh already made headlines for being the first ever Bollywood mainstream actor to endorse a condom brand and now that the advertisement is out, here are four things that it tells us about Ranveer Singh.

The first television advertisement of Durex condoms featuring Ranveer Singh is out and the actor is in his cocky, irreverent best. Singh already made headlines for being the first mainstream Bollywood actor to endorse a condom brand and now that the advertisement is out, here are four things that it tells us about Ranveer Singh.1. Ranveer Singh can rap and he is good at it: While we have already seen mainstream actors like Ayushmann Khurrana, Farhan Akhtar hum tunes for their films, this is the first time an actor has rapped for an advertisement and he does seem to have done a good job.Given that the lines of the song are risque to say the least, Singh sounds both confident and at ease while reciting them. One of the lines goes like this: "Iss tale ki chabi ko tu jeb mein rakh, Kya pata kab khul jai tera luck, Jab you and me raazi, toh phir kya shak, Just give it to me baby, I am a fine f**k "While Singh seems to have done a great job of singing the said lines, reports suggest that he believes in the lyrics off the screen too. In a recent interview to DNA the actor revealed that he carries a condom in his wallet all the time.[caption id="attachment_1493503" align="alignleft" width="380"]

Unfortunately that isn't changing anytime soon, so we might as well warm up to it — which means that we will see more of him in harem pants and beanie, purple suits with red glasses, like the ones he wore in the advertisement. Expect even more floral printed dinner jackets on red carpet. However, beard-lovers mope a bit. All his gorgeous facial hair is gone. But don't lose heart, the advertisement begins with Singh showing of his sculpted shoulders sans a shirt.3. His thumkas are better than Madhuri's: While we got a good glimpse of Singh's moves in Ram Leela's item number Tattad Tattad, in this condom advertisement we see a little more of his swagger and groove. The advertisement is all about zesty pelvic thrusts, hip shaking, the Indian version of a twerk and some cool foot work. He had showed promise for this right when he did the Dhak Dhak steps in the Karan Johar show. With the new Durex ad, he proves that he is actually a male answer to Madhuri Dixit.Watch the advertisement here:
