White Unicorn Ventures launches $5 lakh 'Unigrowth' centre
White Unicorn Ventures has planned to invest around $20 million in early-stage start-ups this year.
Early-stage investment firm White Unicorn Ventures, an investment firm that specializes in seed funding and early-stage support for Startups, launched their first incubation co-working space ‘Unigrowth centre’ in Santacruz West at 500,000 USD.This co-working office space is an all-private suite offices can accommodate approximate six companies with a workforce of four to 10 people per company.Rohit Chokhani, Principal founder, White Unicorn Ventures, “We will be starting two more growth centres – Powai and Andheri (West), which will be slightly bigger and spread across more than 4000 sq ft. Our aim is to double the capacity in the next two years.”Currently, the companies who are a part of the first Growth Centre include Unstockify, Blue Box Consultancy, Prime Squares, Aarchon & Nature-NamaWhite Unicorn Ventures has planned to invest around $20 million in early-stage start-ups this year. The company also aims to spend up to $5 million by the end of 2016. White Unicorn has invested in 15 companies so far and some of them include Routofy, Shaadisaga, Justride, Unstockify, Hostelhousing, Lernr, Carcrew amongst others.
