MRF Apr-Jun quarter net profit up 2.3% at Rs 491 crore

Chennai: Tyre major MRF has reported a marginal rise in standalone net profit at Rs 490.93 crore for the quarter ended June, 30, up 2.3 percent as against Rs 479.54 crore during the same period a year ago.JKTyre_optTotal income from operations for the first quarter remained flat at Rs 3,481.97 crore compared to Rs 3,477.17 crore in the year-ago period, MRF Ltd said in a BSE filing.Shares of the company today closed 0.56 per cent up at Rs 36,689.30 apiece on BSE.
