Now, a Delhi-Kathmandu return flight for Rs 5,000
Indigo will offer daily flight services between the two cities at a return fare of Rs 4,999 or (NPR Rs 8,063) (all inclusive).
Chennai: Low cost airline IndiGo today launched daily flight services between New Delhi and Kathmandu.
The Nepalese capital is the fifth destination for the airline, which recently entered the international sector by launching services to Dubai, Bangkok, Singapore and Muscat.
"The first flight from New Delhi will fly out from Terminal-3 of the Indira Gandhi International Airport to Kathmandu today. The airline will offer daily flight services between the two cities at a return fare of Rs 4,999 or (NPR Rs 8,063) (all inclusive)", the airliner said in a statement.
"Kathmandu is a key market for us and holds a lot of promise. IndiGo will continue to keep its promise of providing low fares on the New Delhi-Kathmandu-New Delhi routes as well," IndiGo President Aditya Ghosh said.
IndiGo has appointed President Tours and Travel as its sales agent for Kathmandu, the statement added.
