Sanjay Deshmukh Joins Citrix As Area Vice President-India Sub Continent

Citrix Systems has announced the appointment of Sanjay Deshmukh as Area Vice President-India Sub Continent, Citrix Systems India. Deshmukh will be responsible for the company’s entire operations including enterprise and field sales, services, technical pre-sales and the post-sales functions. Deshmukh will be based in the Mumbai offices of Citrix.

Deshmukh joins Citrix from SAP, where he was Vice President for the Business User and Platforms business. He joined SAP as part of their acquisition of Business Objects where he was Country Manager India/ SAARC from 2001 to 2008. Deshmukh started Business Objects in India and built a team that succeeded in establishing Business Objects as a dominant player in the Business Intelligence application space. Deshmukh’s other assignments include tenures with Informix, Tata Unisys and Binary Semantics.
