Netmagic, Ingram Micro Ally For Managed Hosting And Cloud Services
Partnership will see Ingram Micro distribute Netmagic's managed hosting and cloud services through its nationwide partner network.
Netmagic Solutions, the managed IT hosting services provider and Ingram Micro, the technology distributors have entered into a strategic alliance to bring Netmagic's managed hosting and cloud service offerings to Ingram Micro's huge network of partners and system integrators.
This is the first time a managed IT hosting service provider in India and a large IT distributor have joined hands to distribute datacentre and cloud services.
"As Ingram Micro, we have always scanned the market for opportunities that are a strategic fit for our business and add value to our partners. Our focus is on identifying the growth engines of the future and make early investments towards bringing these technologies to the market through our partner ecosystem. Datacentre and cloud services are such growth engines experiencing rapid adoption amongst a large set of customers. Ingram Micro is proud to be associated with Netmagic in developing a partner model for selling these services to the large SME market in India. This will create new services opportunities and profit pools for our partners," said Jaishankar Krishnan, Managing Director, Ingram Micro India.
Netmagic and Ingram Micro will provide dedicated resources and training to partners to simplify the sales and operations process.
"We are very happy to team up with Ingram Micro, to offer the benefits of cloud and managed hosting services to a broader set of partners and enterprises. This partnership will help increase the penetration of these services across India and enable partners to offer world-class managed hosting services to their customers as part of their portfolio. This is the first time an association of such a nature is being entered into. We are confident that this will re-define how datacenter services are offered in India," said Sharad Sanghi, CEO, Netmagic Solutions.
