D-Link India Ltd, has announced that Tata Communications has selected D-Link India Ltd as its supplier for providing wireless access points and antennas for deployment of Wi-Fi hotspots across the country.

To wirelessly enable these hotspots, Tata Communications has deployed D-Link Access Points; DWL-3200AP, DWL-2100AP & Wireless Antennas; ANT-24-0800, ANT-24-0801.
"Tata Communications was looking for a solution where the features and functionality of the equipment and ability to remotely manage the growing number of hotspots were the key criteria for selection. We evaluated a number of potential suppliers and selected D-Link for deployment of indoor and outdoor Wi-Fi Access Points in our hotspots," stated Prateek Pashine, Vice President- Planning Retail Business at Tata Communications.
