Avaya, Motorola Offer Joint Solution For Mobile Workers

Avaya GlobalConnect has collaborated with Motorola to offer the Motorola Enterprise Wireless LAN and handheld mobility solution. The solution aimed at retail, healthcare, manufacturing and other environments, enables mobile professionals to access essential enterprise applications and communications capabilities while on the move.

The joint solution claims to improve organisational productivity by giving workers a wireless mobile computer that delivers advanced levels of voice quality. Additionally, all of the phone functionality featured on a desktop office phone, such as transfer, conference and business extension dialing, is available from this wireless device.
