What Railway Minister's brother, a station master, wants from Rail Budget 2014
Gowda's younger brother, DV Suresh Gowda, is a railway Station Master in Karnataka.
Railway Minister Sadananda Gowda, who will present the Narendra Modi government's first railway budget today, has a rather personal connection with the ministry he leads. It turns out his younger brother, DV Suresh Gowda, is a railway station master in Karnataka.

So, what does Gowda's brother want from the Rail Minister? To improve the railway system in his state, especially the Dakshina Kannada region. However, he does not expect anything from the railway minister for himself.
"I don't expect anything from my brother. Nor does he like me asking for any favours. When he was the Chief Minister, MP and MLA, I did not ask anything from him. I just want him to improve the railway system across the State, especially Dakshin Kannada region," he had told PTI earlier.
More from BudgetBut Gowda is not willing to offer suggestions to the Railway Minister.
"He has so many advisers. I didn't give him any suggestion," he told NDTV.
However, he believes that it will be a good budget.
