Praveen Kenneth, Founder of Law & Kenneth.[/caption]Law & Kenneth will take over Saatchi’s Indian management, which is counted as quite a coup. Though both the agencies will retain their legal identities, they will now be part of a group called 'L&K Saatchi & Saatchi". Praveen Kenneth, the founder of Law & Kenneth, will be the co-owner, chairman and managing director of the new group.Within the last 13 months, the French major has bought over digital agency iStrat, brand consultancy MarketGate, and the 10-year-old, mid-sized full service agency, Beehive Communications.Last year, Publicis India told Storyboard of its ambition to make it to the top three of Indian advertising. This acquisition will certainly embolden that attempt. At the very least, it's definitely got other agencies, and their holding companies, to sit up and take notice.
