Draftfcb+Ulka celebrates 'boyhood' with Hero Maestro

Hero MotoCorp Ltd has released a new commercial for its Hero Maestro scooter, titled, 'Such a boy thing'. Conceptualised by Draftfcb+Ulka and produced by The Big Picture Company, the commercial stars Bollywood actor and brand ambassador, Ranbir Kapoor.

The TVC features Kapoor picking up his upset girlfriend on the Hero Maestro scooter. She tells him that she isn't comfortable and he cheekily replies back saying that the seats are extremely comfortable. She then asks him how long this is going to go on for (his immaturity) and he responds back saying that it will go on for a long time, referring to the scooter's mileage. She then asks him to be serious and he responds by asking her to marry him. She again asks him if he's serious and he nods in assent before ceding that he isn't. She then smiles at his antics and the both of them head to an event they're attending. The ad film signs off saying, 'Maestro. Such a boy thing'.

Sanjay Sharma, Group Creative Director, Draftfcb+Ulka Delhi, said, "We wanted to bring out the 'boyish' attitude which Maestro stands for in a way that is relevant to the contemporary society. It's a new dimension - a light hearted take on the way future is dear to the girls and present to the boys."
