Volkswagen announces Polo AllStar Special Edition for this festive season

Volkswagen India has announced a special offer this festive season in the form of the new Polo AllStar Special Edition. While the pricing has not been revealed, the AllStar edition comes with new features, including exterior upgrades, and is expected to cost Rs 20,000 over the standard top range model.The Volkswagen Polo AllStar Special Edition will arrive in the Highline variant and get the same Silk Blue paint colour option which was featured on the Ameo. Other new features include 15-inch diamond cut alloy wheels with a multi-spoke design as well as AllStar badging on the B-pillars and scuff plates.The interior also sees some changes as Volkswagen has added rear AC vents. The only other hatchback in the segment to have this feature was the Hyundai i20. There is an adjustable driver side armrest, new upholstery with striping in the centre and aluminium finished pedals.There are no changes mechanically, so you get the same 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel, 5-speed gearbox-equipped engine options. However the AllStar edition will not be available on the Polo GT TSI and TDI versions. Since this is a limited version, expect a facelift version of the Polo as well as the Vento to arrive by next year.
