Toyota recalls 3.37 million cars globally over airbags and emission control issues
The models being recalled include the Prius, Prius Plug-In Hybrids and Lexus CT 200h


Toyota has issued a recall for 3.37 million vehicles worldwide for faulty airbags. The affected vehicles include the Prius and Prius Plug-In Hybrids that were manufactured between 2010 and 2012. Also, the Lexus CT 200h models made between 2011 and 2012 have also been recalled.
About 743,000 vehicles are being recalled in Japan while 495,000 vehicles are being recalled in North America and 141,000 vehicles are being recalled in Europe, according to an AP report. The overall number also includes 9,000 vehicles in China and 46,000 vehicles in...
