Round 2 of the National Motorcycle Racing Championship rescheduled

Recent resurfacing of the Madras Motor Racing Track the reason for the event being postponed

The second round of the MRF MMSC FMSCI Indian National Racing Championship for 2 Wheelers was scheduled to be held on 23 and 24 July, 2016. However, it has been announced that the round will be postponed, due to the recent resurfacing of the Madras Motor Racing Track.

While the track was recently resurfaced, the four-wheeler National Racing Championship was held at the MMRT post the resurfacing. Given that the surface of the track was fairly fresh, the top layer of the newly resurfaced track peeled away at certain corners....
