Land Rover has launched the petrol variant of its Discovery Sport SUV in India. With prices starting at Rs 56.50 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), the petrol variant will be available only in the HSE trim. The 2.0-litre petrol derivative will be sold in addition to the 2.2-litre TD4 and SD4 diesel engines already on sale in the Indian market since September 2015.
The 4-cylinder 1,999cc petrol engine will produce 240PS along with 340Nm of torque at 1,750rpm. It will be mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission. Apart from the new engine...
