India to host Asia Pacific Rally Championship finale in 2016
Chikmagalur Rally makes it to the calendar for the APRC next year


It's finally time to celebrate for Indian rally fans. The Asia Pacific Rally Championship finally makes a return to India. It has been confirmed that the FIA APRC season finale in 2016 will be held at Chikmagalur. This news comes in after Chikmagalur hosted a round of the Asia Cup, the season finale, earlier this month.
In fact the Chikmagalur Rally, organised by the Motor Sports Club of Chikmagalur (MSCC) was observed at the end of 2013 as a contender for the Asia Cup. And the Asia Cup, held this year, was observed as a contender for the APRC. And with the event running smoothly, and all things going according to plan, things have finally fallen into place.
The finale of the 2016 APRC, to be held in the massive private coffee plantations in Chikmagalur, will be conducted between the 10th and 11th of December, 2016. However, the official date is yet to be confirmed by the FIA.
