Hyundai has achieved the milestone of crossing one-million sales of its i20 hatchback in India. Launched in 2008, the i20 was the first hatchback to compete with the Maruti Suzuki Swift in India. Hyundai gave the i20 a new-generation update in 2014 with a revamped fluidic design and modern interiors. The Elite i20 also won the ICOTY 2015 after battling with other strong contenders like the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz and the Honda City.
