Hyundai Creta 2017 facelift launched along with new E+ Executive and SX+ dual-tone variants

We just reported that the 2017 facelift version of the Hyundai Elite i20 was announced and now we have another one. The 2017 version of the Hyundai Creta has also been launched along with a new E+ Executive variant available in 1.4 litre diesel and SX+ Dual Tone variant in 1.6 litre petrol and 1.6 litre diesel engines.The dual-tone SX+ Creta is priced at Rs 12.35 lakh for the petrol and Rs 13.88 lakh for the diesel (ex-showroom, Delhi). The E+ diesel variant however, is priced at Rs 9.99 lakh (all-India, ex-showroom).Just like the new i20, the SX+ Dual Tone trim will come with a dual paint finish including a Black finish roof top and a sporty black spoiler. It will be offered in white and red colour options along with a black top. Last year Hyundai had launched a special dual-tone 'Anniversary edition' of the Creta.The new Creta comes with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system loaded with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Mirror Link. This system will also support rear parking camera. Other exterior changes include 17-inch diamond cut alloys, daytime running LED light along with new LED tail lamps.Y K Koo, MD and CEO, Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) said, "Creta has set a new benchmark in the SUV segment with class-leading features and unmatched performance and we are proud of its successful journey. Basis of customer feedback and demand, we have introduced new variants in Creta."There aren't any changes with the engine so you get the 1.6 litre CRDi VGT diesel engine that produces 128 ps and is paired to a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission. Then there is the 1.4 litre CRDi diesel engine that can produce 90 ps of power. The petrol variant features a 1.6 litre Dual VTVT engine delivering 123 ps of power with a six-speed manual and automatic transmissions.
