Harley-Davidson Road King Special is the company's 'chrome-less' cruiser

Harley-Davidson has a unique presence and their latest offering is no less. The all-new Road King Special was unveiled in the US recently and it looks gorgeous.The new version of the Road King comes with some new colour variants and almost no chrome. Surprised? You better be. Almost all the bits that are usually covered in chrome, have been replaced with a 'Moody Black' colour. The engine covers, guards, air-box covers, exhausts and its shields are all blacked out. What's more, the regular handlebars have been replaced with 9-inch tall ape handlebars and the front windscreen has also been removed.It is being offered in four new colours including Charcoal Denim, Vivid Black, Olive Gold and the Hot Rod Red Flake Hard Candy Custom. The chrome-less finish does make the Harley look better.You still get the same 1,750cc Milwaukee Eight engine however, the company claims that it is more refined and offers 10 percent more torque. Considering the FL range, the Road King is the lightest and it also gets the new dual-bending valve which had made its debut in the new 2017 range of Harley-Davidson Motorcycles with Milwaukee Eight engines.No confirmation if it will be heading to India but if it does, we will keep you informed.
