Leaked images of the Volkswagen Polo-based Virtus sedan reveal two variants of the upcoming vehicle

Volkswagen Virtus. Motor1[/caption]Brazilian motor blog Motor1 revealed the images, which are heavily edited and appear to be taken from the factory floor. The car is essentially a sedan version of the VW Polo and can thus be best described as a Polo with a boot.Motor1 reports that the car features minor visual differences when compared to the Polo, notably with regards to the front bumper. The site also reports that there are at least two variants of the vehicle, one with 15-inch steel wheels and another with 17-inch alloy wheels. The site also speculates that the vehicle could launch with a 1.6 litre petrol engine putting out 120 hp or a 1.0 litre TSI engine putting out 128 hp. They’re expecting the vehicle to launch with a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed automatic unit.The site describes the interior as being very similar to that of the Polo, pointing out that the dashboard is very similar and that it includes a 10.2-inch display in place of the instrument cluster as well as an optional 8-inch screen for multimedia.The vehicle will launch in the South American market. There’s no word yet on an India launch or on Indian pricing.Motor1
