BMW Motorrad plant in Brazil begins production

First motorcycle plant outside Germany and will manufacture nine models

BMW Motorrad has commenced production at its Manaus plant in Brazil. This is the company’s first manufacturing plant located outside Germany. With a total investment of €10.5 million, the new facility will be manufacturing nine motorcycle models " the F 700 GS, F 800 GS, F 800 GS Adventure, F 800R, R 1200GS, R 1200 GS Adventure, S 1000R, S 1000 RR and the S 1000 XR.
