Actor John Abraham gets his hands on a 2017 Nissan GT-R Black Edition

Bollywood actor, John Abraham is usually associated with all things bulky and brawny and his newest acquisition is no different. The actor, who also happens to be the brand ambassador for the same brand, managed to get his hands on a unique Black Edition 2017 Nissan GT-R and showcased the sports car in short twitter video to his fans online.In the short video that we wished was a bit longer, John Abraham showed off this black beauty, which according to the actor and Nissan is the first one to arrive in India. After giving fans a walk-around of the sports car, the actor then steps into the car and showcases the unique Black Edition interiors in red and black. Indeed, there is nothing too special about Black Edition as there are no additional upgrades underneath apart from the new name tag, paint job and interior colour.Dubbed 'Godzilla', the car was recently launched in India with a total of just 10 GT-Rs headed into the country. According to News18, five of them have been booked and the other three have been delivered to their customers.The sports car was launched in India at a price of Rs 1.99 crores. It is powered by a massive 3.8-litre V6 twin-turbocharged handcrafted engine that can produce 552 bhp at 6,800 rpm and 632 Nm of torque. Thanks to this, the car can launch from 0-100 kmph in just 2.8 seconds.The 2017 GT-R was unveiled at the New York International Auto Show back in March. It will be produced at Nissan’s primary plant in Tochigi, Japan, and will be brought to India as a CBU (Completely Built-up Unit).
