The attack was reported amid the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas.The attack on Israeli diplomat in China is being said to be a suspected terrorist attack.According to reports, the diplomat, who worked in Israel's embassy in Beijing, was attacked within the vicinity of the embassy.Israel's foreign ministry confirmed the attack and said the diplomat was rushed to a hospital for treatment and is in stable condition.Meanwhile, Israeli expressed "deep disappointment" with China's statements concerning Hamas' assault on southern Israel.The deputy director for Asia and the Pacific at the Foreign Ministry, Ambassador Rafi Harpaz emphasised that the messages from China have "no clear and unambiguous condemnation of the terrible attack and heinous massacre committed by the terrorist organisation Hamas against innocent civilians and the abduction of dozens of them to Gaza."With inputs from agencies
