Mortal Kombat Vs. DC Universe
Two universes collide to form a mediocre fighting game.
Among all the top fighting games ever made, Mortal Kombat (MK) is probably the only one that has been the most experimental of the lot. The first 3 MK games simply evolved over each other by adding new moves, more finishers, and even... umm, Babalities. Then came MK4, which took the 2D gameplay into a 3D realm, but with a lot of issues. With MK Deadly Alliance the franchise tried to take a more serious direction through actual martial art styles and a combo-heavy fighting system. Sure, the new system was awesome; it just wasn't Mortal Kombat.
Years later, the Mortal Kombat fighting system has finally achieved a perfect balance between it's original fighting style, with a dash of the new combo-based attacks, and the return of the awesome super moves thrown in the mix. But not everything's as great as it seems.
