Acer's new 1410 netbook series is already quite popular amongst global users. Soon to be available in India, we got our hands on the latest dual core version, called the ZH7 model. Let’s check it out.Design

The lid is a glossy silver and the bezel of the screen is a glossy black. The screen too doesn't have a matte finish and is 11.6 inches, 1366 x 786 native res. It’s LED backlit, so that's a plus point.The keys are almost full size including Shift and Enter. The only exceptions are the Page up and Page down keys that are a little cramped. The tactile feel of the buttons is way above average. The ergonomics overall of this model is quite nice, with a keyboard centric touch pad, with good quality buttons. It’s not the biggest size out there, but the responsiveness is good, plus there is scrollability too on the right end, though visually no markings are made on the pad. There is no pointing stub. The screen hinge is again very well fixed with almost no wobbling. It can extend to about 160 degrees.
