ZTE Axon officially unveiled; features 5.5 inch display, 4GB RAM, dual-lens camera

ZTE has launched its first smartphone under the new brand in the US dubbed the ZTE Axon. The unlocked device is priced at $449.98 (Rs 28,500 approximately) and is available for pre-order from the company's website. It is available in Ion Gold, Chromium Silver, and Phthalo Blue colour variants. Currently, no details regarding the smartphone's launch in other regions has been disclosed.In terms of specifications, the smartphone features a 5.5-inch QHD display with a 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution. It uses Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection. The device is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor paired with 4GB RAM.On the memory front, the ZTE Axon includes an internal storage at 32GB and can be further expanded via microSD card. The main USP of the phone is its camera. It features a dual-lens rear camera (13MP + 2MP) along with an 8MP front facing camera. The rear camera is also capable of recording videos in 4K resolution.In terms of connectivity, the Android 5.1 Lollipop-based ZTE Axon features 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, A-GPS, Wi-Fi, and USB. The smartphone is backed by a 3000mAh non-removable battery.
